Thomas J. Foley Lectures at University's Legal Outreach Program

Attorney, Thomas J. Foley, lectured at St. John’s University on July 13, 2017 to a group of 32 students in the University’s Legal Outreach Program. This year, 32 rising ninth-grade students were selected to participate in LJI at St. John's based on their commitment to educational success and desire to pursue careers in law. The participants, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds, attend the program on a daily basis during the summer. Tom’s presentation focused on social media, freedom of speech, and possible criminal implications of speech. This photo was taken with the class following Tom’s presentation.
